Hi Robert, thank you for signing my guestbook. ah yes, the aircraft were out of the ordinary for me but fun to do. My Hurricane painting made it into the Faber Castell anniversary product catalogue!

It's 'Monkeylady' from the forum...you kindly commented on my Golden Retriever portrait. I absolutely love your work.. the Bruno portrait is fantastic. I'm sat here with my boyfriend and he couldn't believe it wasn't a photograph.... You're now inspiring me to have a go at the dreaded pastels!

Through search for rehoming dogs, one thing led to another and I saw that you were donating 10% to the dog charity and it led me to look at your website.; I just wanted to say that I think that your portraits of the Shetland Sheepdogs are gorgeous. You have captured their expressions perfectly and the way that the colours of their coats mingle together is so real. I'm a selftought artist myself, with a little help from a ones a week class.
I started a class "drawing for the non-drawers", because I was bored and homesick.
I moved from the Netherlands to the USA in 2000.
Now 10 years later I do commission work.
